A local circle · Mobile, Alabama
A Waldorf-inspired homeschool co-op in Mobile, Alabama for children ages 3–8 and their families — seasonal stories, creative handwork, outdoor play, and friendship.
Our co-op has a new home online. Explore our days together, the turning year, and how your family can join our circle.
The shape of our days
Once a week, our families gather in Mobile and nearby community spaces for an unhurried day shaped by the seasons, the weather, and the children themselves.
Story and song lead into movement, art, and handwork. We share a potluck table, spend generous time outdoors, and close the day together.
Parents stay and take part, supervising and holding space for their children. This is an enrichment to your homeschool life, created by families together.
Our weekly gathering
Growing together
We are beginning with two age groups, allowing a dependable rhythm and strong relationships to grow. The whole circle shares meals, time outdoors, and seasonal celebrations.
Ages 3–4
Learning through imitation, real tasks, and play. A gentle circle, a simple story, rich sensory experiences, and plenty of time for imaginative discovery.
Ages 5–8
Living stories, movement, painting and drawing, seasonal handwork, the first gentle strokes of form drawing, and a growing relationship with the natural world.
The turning year
Once a month, our weekly gathering becomes a festival celebration — songs, stories, food from many kitchens, and a seasonal craft made by hand.
From Michaelmas courage to the small lights of Martinmas, preparing and celebrating together gives children a living experience of kindness, gratitude, and belonging.
