Stewardship & Stitches

Quilt Patterns & Handmade Quilts
on the Alabama Gulf Coast

Stewardship & Stitches is my quilt studio on the Alabama Gulf Coast: patterns to make yourself, and quilts made to order. It is also where I keep the work of Project Linus of Alabama Gulf Coast, the chapter I coordinate as a volunteer.

The studio has a website of its own now. Explore beginner-friendly PDF quilt and crochet patterns, custom quilts, and ways to support handmade blanket donations in Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Beginner Quilt Patterns & Made-to-Order Quilts

Download a pattern and make it yourself, or choose the fabrics with me and let me make it for you. Either way it starts with the same designs: bright, simple piecing that a first-time quilter can finish and a long-time quilter can enjoy.

Project Linus of Alabama Gulf Coast

Project Linus: Handmade Blankets for Children

Project Linus gives new, handmade blankets to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need, through hospitals, shelters and the agencies that care for them. A blanket is a hug you can keep. Our chapter serves Mobile and Baldwin counties, and I coordinate it, and make blankets for it, as a volunteer.
